Hello, my name is Sharon Bolt (founder of Good Dogs!) and I’d like to personally welcome you to this page.
It is divided into 4 sections and in each section I talk about a different unwanted behaviour. I explain why that behaviour occurs and what you can do to change it in a kind, calm and effective way. In order to help you further there are transcripts and videos that demonstrate and clarify the methods that I suggest.

SECTION 1 – What the walk really means to your dog.
In my experience, the walk is the most common area that dogs look for leadership. If your dog is barging out the door first or pulling on the lead then they are demonstrating their leadership to you. During this video I explain how you can become the leader rather than the follower in this vital area and how to get your dog to come back when they are off the lead.
