http://www.longtailpro.com/ – This is the tool that gives you the ‘competitor analysis’ for different keywords. The platinum version is required to give you this data.
Here’s what to look for:
0 – 10: No competition (you could rank right away).10 – 20: Extremely low competition (very little link building needed if any at all). 20 – 30: Low competition. 30 – 40: Moderate competition (will need to do some link building). 40 – 50: Quite high competition (going to take some time to rank). 50 – 60: Very high competition. 60 – 70: Extremely high competition. 70 – 100: Don’t even think about it!
